Thursday Sept. 25th, 2008 - Auction Night!

Our next meeting takes place on Thursday September 25th, 2008 at the Sunrise Community Hall in Vancouver. Doors open at 6:30 for socializing and Auction preview. There will be NO workshop, and the business meeting will be kept under ten minutes. Then it's AUCTION time! Your auctioneer Gary Savard will be back once again to get the night rolling. We'll be having our Summer Picnic this year - Sunday August 17th at Queen's Park in New West. We won't be performing a public show as we were not asked back. We were unable to get a sheltered area - so we will make do in the park near the bandshell and pray for sunshine! If you would like to perform a fifteen minute set at the picnic to get your 'Magic Wand'  degree then please contact Competition Chair, Bruce Hunt for more details.

The IBM / SAM Convention was held from July 21st to 27th and members Rod Chow, Shawn Farquhar and Mike Norden were there representing Vancouver.  Check out the Newsletter for the details!
