History of the Vancouver Magic Circle

A membership drive in 1944 saw the clubs size dramatically increase from 16 members to over 50 members and in January of 1945 the clubs meeting location was moved to The Hotel Vancouver (Kitty corner from the Devonshire Hotel).

The first " Magic banquet" (aka Lady's Night) was held in October of 1945. Wildly successful, it went on to become an annual event that was a Society Affair drawing over 600 people some years and putting the Vancouver Magic Circle on the Map in the local Vancouver Media. (to be continued)
